Susana Meirinhos
Born in Porto in 1974.
Between 1992 and 1997, she studied at Universidade Lusíada do Porto, where she graduated in Architecture with a specialization in Architectural Rehabilitation.
She began her professional career in 1997, collaborating with architect Eduardo Souto de Moura in Porto, where she was involved in the development and supervision of large-scale and complex projects until 2006. That year, she moved to Lisbon to join the team of architect Frederico Valsassina, where, between 2006 and 2008, she worked on and coordinated projects across different areas, also taking on team coordination responsibilities.
In 2008, she moved to São Paulo, Brazil, to collaborate with architect Isay Weinfeld, contributing to the development of projects of high conceptual and technical demand, as well as to international competitions. Returning to Portugal in 2009, she rejoined Frederico Valsassina’s practice, where until 2023 she took on responsibilities in project and team coordination, client and consultant relations, and construction site management, consolidating a comprehensive and multidisciplinary experience.
She has continuously developed her independent practice since 2004, leading projects in a wide range of areas, from housing to commercial spaces, including interior design.
In 2024, she formalized the creation of Meirinhos Arquitetura, continuing her professional path by dedicating herself exclusively to the development of architecture and interior design projects, combining technical rigor with a creative and personalized vision.
